Australian made sheep fencing Eyre Peninsula SA

Eric Ashby talks about the Australian made sheep fencing on the property at Nonowie Station.

Nonowie Station on the Eyre peninsula in South Australia runs sheep for wool and meat and keeps them in using Waratah Longlife Blue Stocksafe-T prefabricated wire and Jio steel posts.

Stations in South Australia have traditionally used timber posts, but the speed of installation and product consistency has seen a shift to the use of Jio steel posts.

Eric says, “We have used a lot of Waratah products on other properties and it’s always lasted. In a few years the fence still looks new.

“We were looking for versatility into the future, if we want to run cattle.”
